Family Trip to Penang

This is another story in 2012 that I wanna jot it down because this is a happy memory!

29/9/12 (Sat)

The whole family went off from Cheras, KL to Butterworth and Pulau Penang today~ Hooray~Had so much fun. We departed at about 6.30am and reach Butterworth at 11 something. On the way to Butterworth, we stop by a R&R station near Taiping to have our breakfast and continue our journey after that. The purpose of us going to Butterworth is actually to attend our relative's wedding. Of course we can't miss the chance to go to Penang since we are so close to it!
Roughly about 2.30pm after we had our lunch at the bridegroom's house, we immediately went off to Penang. We paid RM7 to cross the Penang bridge~

The first location that we went was Kek Lok Shi, I don't really sure whether my spelling correct or not~~ However, it's too bad that we didn't reach the top because insufficient of time! And we never think of to drive to the top...We just keep on walking along the street and people are selling all kind of stuff~

After tiring footsteps, finally we reach one of the temple. Although we did make it to the top, the view here was amazing and beautiful!

We've also visited a lot of places and eaten lots of food...A plate of char kuey teow costed us RM7.50!!! Wow!!! We're sooooo soooo soooo surprise upon hearing how much the char kuey teow cost! But its worth it because there were a plenty of big big prawns and it really taste good!

 Penang Ice-Kacang! With an ice-cream on the top and it taste a little bit like pepsi~

After a whole day of visiting, finally we went back to Butterworth by ferry. This is my first time going onto a ferry by car! Let the photos tell it all~~

This is the second floor of the ferry...car parked side by side and the middle is for the  passenger.

We used to call this as horse! haha...it is actually used to hang up heavy goods and put into the boats.

Went back to Ipoh after some attending the wedding in penang. and this is what I like abt the house in Ipoh!
